Nostalgia Pool Residence
This early-90s north-facing home had gone three decades without a proper refresh. Time left its marks, yet also preserved rare strengths: every room framing generous sunlight and uninterrupted views of the pool, and an original layout shaped by a surprisingly thoughtful architectural hand.
The design begins with a simple intention: to renew without erasing its history. Teak details, glass blocks, and louvered wardrobe doors became quiet anchors for the new palette.
Soft-toned timber flooring sits comfortably beneath the original wooden ceiling, while crisp white windows and doors bring clarity and balance to the interior. Furnishings were selected with a nod to design classics, allowing the vintage elements to speak in a contemporary rhythm.
The result is a calm, light-filled retreat. A space where the texture of time and the freshness of the present coexist, offering a daily sense of quiet poetry.
